| Description | We are a family of 8 (yes that's 6 kids) and are starting a small house church after years of attending various unbiblical contemporary churches. We believe family integration in worship and fellowship is a Biblical mandate and one that has been tragically ignored by the contemporary American church. We believe that parents should be responsible to disciple their children and that a church is a family of families. We are reform minded baptistists. We reject open theism, modalism, the word of faith movement, the emergent church, and hyper-arminianism as heresy in the modern American church. We believe it is an essential activity for each individual believer to engage in the great commission. We reject the easy believism of the modern Gospel (the ABCs), but are ardent that repentance towards God and faith in Jesus Christ alone are the essential message of the Gospel. |
