Is there care for younger children?
Does everyone in my family have to register?
When can I use my Creation Museum tickets?
Is food included in the conference cost?
Is there a shopping center nearby?
Anyone is welcome to attend, and we encourage you to bring your entire family. Pastors and elders are also encouraged to come.
Children are not only welcomed, but are encouraged to come with their parents. There will be many families attending the conference with all of their children. We desire to provide encouragement and instruction for the whole family with the hope that children will leave the conference with a greater understanding of the sufficiency of scripture. We have also arranged the schedule to make it easier for children to attend the sessions with adequate breaks and free time. Additionally, there will be a nursing mothers and small children room available as well.
Is there day care for younger children?
Child care is not provided. Children are welcomed in the sessions with their parents. A private area for nursing mothers and small children will be provided.
Strollers are permissible at the conference and will be allowed in all areas of the conference center.
Does everyone in my family have to register?
All paying registrants (those over four years old) need to register.
The conference registration cost is $105 per individual (children 5 and up) and comes with a Creation Museum pass (please see the Creation Museum questions). The family rate is $495 for families of any size. “Family” is defined as individuals living under the same roof. Each person will receive a pass to the museum; for this reason, we do ask that you register everyone attending.
To help you roughly estimate other costs we have created a cost calculator. Basics, such as hotels, gas, food, and parking, can be tallied with this tool. Click here to view cost calculator.
When can I use my Creation Museum tickets?
Every person that is registered will receive a ticket to the creation museum. They will be emailed to you a week prior to the Conference. You may use them anytime between December 8-14, 2009, with the exception of Saturday.
Is food included in the conference cost?
While meals are not included, the convention Center will be providing concession stands for the conference (including a Starbucks). For restaurants near the Convention Center, here are a few that are within a mile: McDonald’s, Burger King, Subway, and White Castle. Click here to see a map with these and others listed.
Please note: You are not allowed to bring your own food into the convention center. The Convention Center’s staff has made this very clear. Also, you are not allowed to eat in the auditorium. This too is strictly enforced. We ask that you please honor these guidelines as a testimony to those affiliated with the convention center.
Is there a shopping center nearby?
For shopping, click here to see a map with directions to the nearest Wal-Mart. There are also numerous shopping centers within close proximity to the Convention Center.
We will be providing American Sign Language (ASL). Chuck Snyder will be doing the interpreting.
